What we collect

When you submit a form on this site, we collect: your name, email, phone, province, capital range, timeline, vertical interest, and any optional notes you include. We collect only the minimum needed to deliver the service you requested.

How we use it

To match you with franchise opportunities (free-match track) or resale listings (resale track), to communicate with you about your inquiry, and to meet legal record-keeping obligations.

CASL consent

We send commercial electronic messages only after you provide explicit, unchecked-by-default consent on the form. Every email includes a working unsubscribe link. Removal requests honored within 10 business days (CRTC S.C. 2010 c.23).

Who we share with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share with franchisors only when you opt in to a specific match. We share with service providers (Convex for storage, Resend for email, WorkOS for admin authentication) under contract.

Lead records are retained for 24 months from last contact, then securely disposed. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

Breach reporting

Per the Breach of Security Safeguards Regulations (SOR/2018-64), any breach involving personal information that creates a real risk of significant harm is reported to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and to affected individuals.

Quebec residents (Loi 25)

Quebec residents have additional rights under Loi 25, including the right to be informed of automated decision-making and the right to data portability in a structured, commonly-used format. Contact us to exercise these rights.
